We started breeding Poms about 2 years ago. We all work hard
everyday to make sure our babies stay healthy, cleaned and loved. Our babies have there own bed room when it's time for us
to eat our dinner they go to there room. They also have there own bathroom where they are groomed and bathed. We raise our
Poms around kids, cats and other dogs. We have never had any problems with this. Now we not only breed Poms we breed Siberian
Huskies too.

The Pomeranian descended from the Spitz family of dogs, the sled dogs of Iceland
and Lapland. The breed takes its name from the historical region of Pomerania that makes up the southern coast of the Baltic
sea (now present day Germany and Poland), not because it originated there, but because this was most likely where it was bred
down to size. In its larger form, the dog served as an able herder of sheep. When it first came to notice in Britain in the
middle of the 19th century, some specimens were said to weigh as much as thirty pounds and to resemble the German wolf spitz
in size, coat and color.

GROOMING:Puppies should be groomed from an early age so they learn to welcome all the attention. The double
coat of the Pomeranian does not require as much attention as some of the other coated breeds but nevertheless he does require
regular grooming,at least 2 or 3 times a week if not daily.
When you stroke or pat your Pomeranian stroke the coat from the tail to the head as this will raise the dense coat. Teach
your baby from a young age to accept and enjoy being groomed.Occasional bathing is recommended with a shampoo formulated for
dogs.A tearless puppy shampoo is the best to use.
Trimming of hair around the anus for cleanliness is recommended.
Toe nails should be kept as short as possible.
Most pomeranian puppies go through a juvenile stage called the uglies.
If you've never owned a pomeranian before this can be a real scare. Your adorable cute, fuzzy pup starts to lose its
coat and looks down right pathetic.
DON'T PANIC
This is completely normal. My own dog Killer went through the worst case of the uglies
I've ever seen. It took him 5 months to get over it, but in the end he developed a full thick coat.

AVERAGE LIFE SPAN- The average Pomeranian lifespan is about 12 years, but it is not unusual for some
Pomeranians to live a happy life well into their middle teens.I have found that keeping your Pomeranian trim and active will
help prevent many health problems and enable your Pomeranian to lead a happy life into the mid teens.Desexing reduces the
risk of many cancers, so it is a good idea to have this done close to puberty.
TEMPERAMENT -The Pomeranian is a delightful family member,extrovert,lively and very , very intelligent
. Owing to the diminutive size and high energy level the Pomeranian is not recommended for families with young children.Pomeranians
are suitable for flat dwellers who are prepared to exercise their dog on a regular basis and also make loyal and intelligent
companions for the elderly.

Puppy Love
My puppy came to our house one day,
She seemed to be smiling in a funny type of way.
She
looked at me with her big soft eye's,
And seemed to say...
I love you! suprise!
The days went by and she grew and grew,
She was
so special to me and still she seemed like new.
She ran
and played with me all day,
She never tired she so loved
to play.
She barked and fetched the balls I threw,
And when night came she never seemed through.
She would snuggle with me all night long,
She loved to hear me laugh and sing her a song.
She
is still with me now though she's tired and weak,
She is
still the best, the best I think.
